Privacy Policy

When you use MagicPixel we collect:

• Account data: email address, display name, optional profile photo, and the auth provider you used (email/password or Google).
• Content: pixel art, layers, prompts, style references, marketplace listings, and any files you import.
• Usage data: AI generation telemetry, error logs, and activity logs used to operate and improve the Service.
• Billing: handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.

We use your information to operate the editor, run AI generations, process payments, send transactional emails (account, billing, password resets), and improve the Service. Marketing emails are only sent if you opt in, and you can opt out at any time from Settings.

MagicPixel relies on the following providers, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Supabase — database, storage, and authentication.
• Google — AI generation (prompts and reference images you submit may be sent to Google to produce outputs) and optional Google sign-in.
• Stripe — subscription and credit-pack payments.
• Resend — transactional and marketing email delivery.

Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure with Row-Level Security ensuring you can only access your own records. Passwords are hashed by Supabase Auth — we never see them. Pixel art assets are stored in cloud storage with high-entropy paths.

MagicPixel uses cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences (theme, last opened document), and maintain local IndexedDB backups of in-progress work to protect against data loss.

You can update your profile, change your email, opt out of marketing communications, and permanently delete your account at any time from Settings. Account deletion removes your assets, profile, and associated data from our active systems.

We retain your data while your account is active. On deletion, account and content data are removed; limited security and billing logs may be retained for a short period as required by law or to prevent abuse.

MagicPixel is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Your data may be processed in the United States and other regions where our service providers operate.

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
